I have asked two questions on this forum about the Calotropis theme and have received no response from the theme developer. I have also asked questions on the main wordpress forum about problems I'm having with this theme, and everyone there seems baffled by this theme. I really think the theme developer is under an obligation to assist people struggling with his theme. You can't just put it out there and forget about it. That's not the purpose. I will be informing wordpress of my very bad experience with this theme, asking why they have approved it and informing them about the failure of the theme developer to provide support to users. This should not be an approved wordpress theme.

I can get the image and video gallery plugins up and running, but I can't get them into the home page and delete the static image that's there now! I want my links to be blue and underlined and have found any number of ways to edit style.css to accomplish that. When I look at the style.css for Calotropis 1.5.2, I don't see nearly as much information there as I do in the same file for other themes. There is nothing there except the /* WP requirements */. Other themes have several sections of code after that. I have simply added, say, #main .singlepost .entry a {color:blue;} after what I have, but nothing happens. I know next to nothing about CSS, but when I see an instruction to look for a particular line of code and change it to something else, I can certainly tell that the Calotropis style.css that I have has nothing resembling what I'm looking for!

The issue is that all nested menu items disappear behind certain types of content, and it is impossible to hover and click those particular items when this happens. The problem occurs whenever the menu drops down to any flash content, like YouTube videos or sidebar widgets. A related issue is that in the top navigation menu above the header, I have several drop-down submenus, but it is impossible to hover over or click the two items that appear on the same line as the main navigation menu.
